Free Tennis Clinics this Summer

The City of Swift Current and Tennis Saskatchewan have partnered together to host four tennis clinics this summer.  This will be a great opportunity for community members to learn and improve their tennis skills. These free clinics will be held on July 11, 18, 25 and August 1 at the Riverside tennis courts.  There will be three different sessions according to ages.  For children ages 6-9 the clinic will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm; for youth ages 10-14 it will be held from 3:15 to 4:15 pm, and anyone older than 15 years old can come out from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.

Participants are asked to pre-register by July 4 by picking up a registration form at City Hall or going on line at  If you are not able to attend all four sessions, please still register.  Drop-ins are welcome, but priority will be given to pre-registered participants.  Equipment will be provided, or you can bring your own.  In case of poor weather, the tennis clinics will be held at the Stockade at Kinetic Park.

Did you know that tennis is one of the sports at Swift Current’s 2019 Western Canada Summer Games?  Also, tennis is #56 on the ParticipACTION Play List, so why not learn more about this great sport? You can cross it off the 150 list as well as get ready to either compete at the Western Canada Summer Games or sit back and enjoy watching and cheering on your team?  Thank you to ParticipACTION for their funding to make these clinics possible!
