Applications for connections, transfers, and disconnections must be made in person at City Hall. Electrical service may be disconnected if we do not receive an application for service. The account holder will be held responsible for all charges up to the date that Customer Service at City Hall has been notified, or the date that your account is finalled, whichever is later.
If you are moving within the utility service area, a $10.00 transfer charge is applied to each water and electric service and is billed on your first bill at the new service address.
You will be assigned a new account number when you move. When using Online Banking or Telebanking as your method of utility payment, please ensure to use the correct utility account number for the bill you are paying.
Please note: The City of Swift Current does not provide same day service. Please contact the Customer Service Representative at least 24 hours in advance of when you require a change in service.
