Arenas / Ice Rinks

The City of Swift Current plays host to three indoor arenas and five outdoor rinks.

Credit Union i-plex: 2001 Chaplin Street E, Swift Current
The Credit Union i-plex is home to the WHL Swift Current Broncos, AAA Midget Legionnaires, Swift Current Curling Club and Redneck Betties.

Fairview Arenas: 101 Hayes Drive, Swift Current
Fairview Arenas houses two indoor ice surfaces, Fairview East and Fairview West.

Outdoor Rinks
The outdoor rinks generally open for operation in December and run until mid February, weather permitting. The outdoor rink facilities include:

Highland Rink - Reid Crescent and Maxwell Drive

 

North Hill Rink - 4th Avenue NE and Ashford Street E

 

Riverdene Rink - Riverdene Park Drive and 13th Avenue NE              

 

Westside Rink - 3rd Avenue NW between Herbert Street and Sidney Street

 

Southside Rink - 3rd Avenue SE and McIntosh Street E

All locations have two ice surfaces; one large (enclosed) surface and one small (open) surface. When skating is scheduled for the large surface, hockey will take place on the smaller surface and vice versa and a heated rest area with washrooms.
