  • Revitalization of downtown with new buildings, Market Square and the Main Street Saskatchewan program
  • Renovation and expansion of the Credit Union i-Plex, resulting in two World Curling Championships, CCA Rodeo Finals and the Cody Snyder PBR Invitational
  • Brand new:

  • Hospital & long term care facility
  • Personal care home
  • Joint schools
  • Swift Transit scheduled bus service
  • Water / Wastewater Treatment Plants
  • Safe Places / Youth Certified initiative
  • Education advancements, such as:
    • Significant program growth at Great Plains College
    • Dr. Lee’s Family Medicine Residency Program

    • Total construction values:

      • 25 years before that: $240 million or $9.6 million / year
    • Over the past dozen years, over 1,000 housing units have been constructed
    • In that time, the average sale price of a home in Swift Current has increased by approximately 175%, from $90,000 to $250,000
