Honouring the Past:
A History of Swift Current by Decade

This exhibit was displayed at the Credit Union I-plex arena during the opening Centennial Extravaganza event held on January 15, 2014.  Each decade was represented with images and objects from the museum collection and through generous loans from members of the community.  Videos showing the historical highlights of each decade were produced in partnership with the local television network.

1914 - 209th training at camp hughesIn Remembrance: A Military History of Swift Current
This exhibition chronicles the contributions that Swift Current and Southwest Saskatchewan residents have made to various international conflicts, as well as our "Free and Fearless" reserve militia who remained ready to serve for over 50 years.
