Information for Candidates

Nomination Papers can be filed with the Returning Officer at City Hall Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. commencing on September 23, 2024 to October 9, 2024, which is Nomination Day - officially the last day to submit nomination papers. They will be accepted between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. only, on October 9, 2024, at which time nominations will be closed.  

The Returning Officer shall review the Nomination Papers and, if found in order, a receipt shall be issued to the Candidate or their agent.
