Permits and Licences

The City of Swift Current issues permits and licences for the development, construction and use of all commercial, industrial, institutional or residential properties and buildings. The permits set standards for the health and safety of the citizens of Swift Current and ensure Swift Current's reputation as a great place to live, work and do business. 

Permit and licence approvals are made based on legislation from the Planning and Development Act, Cities Act, Municipal Bylaws, and the National Building Code.
