City Recreation Complex

The City Recreation Complex, located on Patterson Drive, houses a total of 10 ball diamonds suitable for fastball and slo-pitch. Each ball diamond has a shale infield and sheltered dugouts.

The fastball diamonds have the following average dimensions: 

• Home plate to pitcher’s mound: 43 feet 
• Home plate to first base: 60 feet 
• Home plate to centre field fence: 238 feet
• Home plate to the left and right field fences: 250 feet 

The slo-pitch diamonds have the following average dimensions: 

• Home plate to pitcher’s mound: 50 feet 
• Home plate to first base: 64 feet 
• Home plate to centre field fence: 267 feet
• Home plate to the right and left field fences: 270 feet 

The ball diamonds in the complex must be booked prior to use. Bookings can be done by calling Community Services at 306-778-2787.
