CPRail provides training for firefighters and first responders along its right-of-way. This training occurs at the Security and Emergency Response Training Center (SERTC) facility in Pueblo, Colorado.  CPRail pays for tuition, travel and accommodations for firefighters attending the course.  To date, 8 of our firefighters have completed this training at SERTC and all of our firefighters have taken the on-line awareness course.  

Under Transport Canada Protective Direction 36, railways are required to provide information to municipalities about the types and quantities of dangerous goods being transported through their jurisdictions.  CP Rail provides this information to us annually.  We receive a detailed document which is for internal planning use only and a summary document that may be made available for public disclosure.  The following is the public document for 2017:
