Department Organization

The Swift Current Fire Department is a composite fire department consisting of a fire chief, two deputy fire chiefs, an administrative assistant, 4 captains,12 career fire fighters and 16 paid-on-call fire fighters.  In addition, the EMO coordinator is under the direction of the fire chief.  Members are divided into 4 platoons allowing us to man the fire hall 24/7 and having additional members available for call back during major incidents.
