Elmwood Park

Elmwood Park, one of the City’s oldest parks, is situated next to the Swift Current Creek, along the Chinook Parkway, on the corner of Chaplin Street and 9th Avenue North East, .

The stately trees in Elmwood Park create a nice canopy of shade in the large green space located in the park. This is a perfect locale for picnics or other social gatherings.

A play area is located in Elmwood Park and contains a set of swings, a teeter totter, a slide, and climbing apparatus. Washroom facilities and a parking lot are located on the premises.  

Elmwood Park is home to the City's only Outdoor Fitness Park, which offers 13 stations that provide cardio and core strength training that are designed for those over the age of 12. This permanent, drop-in facility is open daily and free of charge.
