Host Your Event at the Museum
If you’re looking for an interesting place to host your next event, the Swift Current Museum could be the unique venue you are looking for!
Individuals, groups, or organizations may book the museum for meetings, receptions, presentations, and conferences.
Capacity
The Museum can accommodate up to 50 people; however, applicable municipal, provincial, and federal health restrictions will be enforced.
Cost
Rental of the common areas of the Museum is available at a rate of $50/hour + tax. Additional costs may be include security deposit, minimum booking requirements, museum staff or special requests.Use of the following items are included in the museum space rental:
- Digital projector and wall-mounted screen
- Sound system
- Chairs and tables
- Serving area with sink
- Dishwasher
- Microwave
- Coffee Maker
- Tea Kettle
- Refrigerator
Food and Beverages
Catering arrangements must be made by the renter. Contact the Museum for catering information.All food and beverages must be kept away from museum exhibits and artefacts, and should be restricted to the museum lobby and designated common area. Liquor licenses are the responsibility of the renter and are required for events where alcohol is served.
Additional Information
The Museum is largely handicap accessible, but does not have automatic doors. There is ample parking around the building and there are two washrooms located off the Museum lobby.
