Magnus Newland Arena

The City of Swift Current is excited for the newly expanded Magnus Newland Arena at Kinetic Park. This state of the art arena is a large 150' x 250' arena capable of hosting a multitude of animal and rodeo events.  This arena has:

• a complete rodeo setup
• multiple back pens on both the roughstock and timed event ends
• a return alley
• bucking chutes complete with crash pads for additional safety
• a centre alley
• a corner gate for ease in exiting the arena for barrel racing jackpots
• lights for night time use
• portable stands for events
• plenty of parking beside it for trucks and trailers
• easy access to washroom facilities, water, and other buildings at Kinetic Park

This arena is also beside a smaller arena that is perfect for warming up animals.

If you are interested in using this arena, there is a $20 /horse per hour weekday fee. Please contact Kinetic Park at 306-778-1621 to book for yourself or a larger event. This rate does not apply to weekend events. Please keep your eyes open for a drop box (just like camping self-registration!) that will be put out at the arena in future.
